Pembroke School is seeking a visionary leader to drive excellence in Chinese language programs across its ELC–12 community.

The successful candidate will lead curriculum design, mentor colleagues, and foster students' growth as confident, compassionate global citizens in an IB World School.

About the Role

This leadership position entails driving the vision and day-to-day delivery of Chinese language across the Middle and Senior Schools.

  • Curriculum development and assessment across Chinese FL/BL/SL pathways (AC, SACE, IB A & B).
  • Student placement and eligibility for SACE & IB Chinese; communicate pathways with families.
  • Mentor and induct staff; promote innovative pedagogy; coordinate conversation assistants/volunteers.
  • Curate resources and platforms; manage reporting and Accelerus setup.
  • Plan cultural programs, excursions/incursions; lead coordination of exchanges and study tours.
  • Promote Languages across campuses and support events, planning, and annual reporting.

Key Qualifications

Deep expertise in Language curriculum leadership and innovation, excellent Mandarin skills, strong people leadership, and robust administration are essential requirements.
