Regional Operations Lead

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will champion exceptional quality and safety standards across a portfolio of early childhood education centres. This role involves leading by example, mentoring Centre Directors to improve quality practices and child safety protocols.

This is an opportunity for a strategic leader to drive continuous improvement in child safety practices, develop innovative educational programs, and foster a positive centre culture. You will work collaboratively with our Safety & Risk team to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and incident management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain robust protection systems and safety-first culture across all centres.
  • Develop and maintain sector-leading educational programs.
  • Support Centre Directors in implementing high-quality educational programs.
  • Monitor regulatory frameworks and lead incident management.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in early childhood education sector with deep understanding of child development and safety principles.
  • Proven track record as a Nominated Supervisor, Centre Director, or managing Centre Directors across multiple centres.
  • Demonstrated experience turning around challenged centres with emphasis on quality improvement and safety enhancement.
  • Strong understanding of mandatory reporting obligations, child safety frameworks, and incident management.
  • Comprehensive experience with Assessment & Rating processes and National Quality Standards implementation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood or relevant field.
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Valid driver's licence.
