The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill the position of Alcohol and Drug Counsellor - Graduate. This is a fixed-term, full-time role working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 2 years.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality alcohol and other drug treatment services in accordance with relevant Government Legislation and Regulations, Primary Health Care Principles, and professional competencies.
- Work within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive treatment program.
- Focus on ongoing professional and career development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of addiction services.
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work approved by the relevant professional bodies.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
- Desirable: Current Driver's Licence.
- A competitive salary range of $71,441 - $107,878 per annum.
