Senior Wind Energy Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Wind Energy Engineer to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our renewable energy team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and oversight throughout the development and construction phases of wind farm and other renewable energy technology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise and oversight to project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Support project teams in understanding and mitigating risks associated with renewable energy projects.
- Oversee the design process of wind farms to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Support the development and preparation of bids for renewable energy projects, including technical specifications and cost estimates.
- Lead wind farm projects nationally, ensuring best practices and knowledge dissemination across the organisation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of consulting experience preferred, or adaptable from a major construction background.
- Expertise in wind farm development and construction and proficient in design principles and standards.
- Proven understanding of commercial and risk considerations throughout project phases.
- Project leadership experience across major projects.
- RPEV/RPEQ certification with a relevant engineering degree (electrical/mechanical).
