Job Title

This is a key role for a Field Service Engineer to deliver comprehensive repair and maintenance services.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality repair and maintenance services to mechanical and retail equipment including fitting, stripping, welding, and general maintenance. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the service office and area supervisor/line manager by completing assigned tasks efficiently and on time.

You will perform assembly work on a variety of products and conduct preventative inspections and testing on electro-mechanical equipment. You may be required to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.

You must adhere to service level agreements ensuring work is completed to company and customer standards. You will complete all required documentation accurately and promptly including job reports, timesheets, and service records.

You will monitor customer service standards escalating issues where necessary. You will use the Company's Service Management system for daily records, vehicle checks, and parts tracking.

You must take responsibility for health & safety following all safe working procedures and company policies. You will maintain company vehicles and equipment in line with policy.

You will attend training sessions to ensure continuous professional development. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding and maintenance skills with relevant qualifications. Previous experience with hydraulic systems is essential. Previous experience working on balers is also required.
