The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mine Operations Supervisor to join our Integrated Operations Centre team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mine and Maintenance 1 (M1) Controllers, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining fleet management systems. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting production problems, evaluating multiple solutions, and implementing effective strategies to meet production and safety targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and optimize mining fleet management systems to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Identify and assess risks, making informed decisions to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  • Lead and manage a team of M1 Controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve production and safety outcomes, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with BHP's risk management framework.
