We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team at Uniting AgeWell - Strath-Haven, Bendigo.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care to residents and supporting their well-being.
As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a key role in providing leadership and supervision to Personal Care Workers, as well as supporting Registered Nurses in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, restorative care, and pain management.
- Support nursing staff regarding assessment and care planning processes, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.
- Act as a role model in coordinating daily routines and adhering to safe practice measures in medication management in consultation with Registered Nurses.
- Participate in clinical handover with Registered Nurses and contribute to the development of resident care plans.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Div 2).
- At least one year of experience as an EEN in residential aged care (preferred).
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired).
- Proficiency in decision making, critical analysis, and on-the-spot problem solving.
- Demonstrated ability to delegate and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills in team and one-on-one interactions.
- Above-award hourly rates.
