About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team at City of Vincent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in leading the facilitation of sustainability and innovation within our city.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainability targets and related documents, ensuring their effective implementation and evaluation.
  • Prepare reports and plans for third-party sustainability certification, showcasing our commitment to excellence.
  • Design and deliver sustainability education programs for staff, fostering a culture of environmental awareness.
  • Embed sustainability considerations in project planning and reporting frameworks, ensuring a holistic approach.
  • Investigate and plan the delivery of key sustainability projects, driving positive change.
  • Provide expert information to stakeholders, building trust and confidence in our organization.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in sustainability or related disciplines is essential, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate staff, colleagues, and partners.
  • High-level written communication skills, with the ability to craft reports, strategies, and policies that inspire action.
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, or related fields.
  • A current 'C' Class Driver's License is required for this role.
