About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Advisor to join our team at the City of Vincent. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving and facilitating our sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve our sustainability targets and contribute to periodic reviews of progress.
  • Maintain and strengthen our sustainability partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Promote sustainable behaviors and practices within the community through education and outreach programs.
  • Investigate, plan, and deliver key sustainability projects that align with our organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to embed sustainability as a core business practice throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of sustainability principles and practices.
  • Highly developed analytical and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, client service, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong skills in the preparation and review of sustainability-related strategies, plans, policies, procedures, and related documents.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Extensive experience in sustainability or a related field, with a strong understanding of environmental science and management principles.
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, or a related field.
