Job Title: Elevator Technician

Elevator technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of elevators, escalators, and other passenger transportation systems. We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team as elevator technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install new equipment and upgrade existing systems to meet industry standards.
  • Ensure all work is performed according to relevant codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735 and AS3000.
  • Maintain company tools and equipment, ensuring proper care and safeguarding of property.
  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, reporting any potential hazards.
  • Work in accordance with the Quality System, adhering to lift industry codes and standards.
  • Attend customer inspections and service checks as required.
  • Address defects identified during service or handover inspections.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements for Success:

  • Prior experience in installation and adjustment of lifts, escalators, and travelators.
  • Current electrical registration in Australia and a valid driver's license.
  • Relevant qualifications or training, such as 'working from heights' or 'rigging,' would be beneficial.
  • Strong English language skills, both verbal and written.
  • An uncompromising attitude towards workplace safety.
  • Able to work independently and unsupervised.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders and team members.
