Elevator Maintenance Specialist

As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of elevators and escalators in the Sydney CBD area. Your role will involve working closely with other technicians, electricians, and trade assistants to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance work according to relevant job procedures and technical guidelines.
  • Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Train electrical and mechanical apprentices and subcontractors.
  • Respond to elevator and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications.
  • Perform upgrades and repair work in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
Working Relationships
  • Collaborate with Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, and Operations Managers.
  • Liaise with functional management at other entities and headquarters.
  • Represent the organization's relationships with major customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Educational qualifications in Electrical and/or Fitter trade.
  • A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years' experience in the Lift Industry.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Extensive knowledge across large equipment and ability to transfer knowledge.
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Intermediate knowledge using technology, including mobile communications and applications.
