Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team at Healthscope. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient-centred customer service, including greeting all customers, handling enquiries, and maintaining accurate patient information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient-centred customer service, including greeting all customers and handling enquiries with a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient information data collection, referrals, billing, and processing of medical records.
  • Undertake general administration duties, including booking patient appointments and directing patient enquiries.
  • Liaise with other areas of the hospital to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Arrange patient transport for discharge and inter-facility transfer.
  • Manage patient electronic records, ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility or hospital.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary work environments.
  • Advanced computer literacy and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • A track record of providing great service and customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
