Job Role Overview

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team in providing in-home aged care and disability support services, supporting individuals to live independently.

This role involves travelling between clients' homes and assisting them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Domestic Assistance: Light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social Support/Transportation: Social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
  • Aids and Equipment Support: Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
  • Team Collaboration: Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
  • Supervision: Performing work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
