Job Title: Cloud & AI Solution Engineer

As a seasoned technical professional, you will drive the adoption of cloud platforms and develop innovative solutions to meet business needs. Your expertise in Azure Databricks, Purview Data Governance, and Cosmos DB will be crucial in driving technical sales and influencing solution design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technical sales presentations to decision makers, leveraging demos and Proof of Concepts to shape solution design and ensure successful deployments.
  • Lead hands-on engagements – hackathons and architecture workshops – to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft's cloud platforms and foster collaboration among platform leads.
  • Build trusted relationships with platform leads, co-designing secure and scalable architectures and solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Resolve technical blockers and objections by collaborating with engineering teams to share insights and improve products.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or consulting, with a strong understanding of Azure databases (SQL DB, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL) and analytics (Fabric, Azure Databricks, Purview).
  • Expertise in data warehouse and big data migration, including on-prem appliances (Teradata, Netezza, Oracle) and Hadoop (Cloudera, Hortonworks), is highly desirable.
