This role involves working in a dynamic sleepover model home supporting 5 adults with high support needs, on a rotating fortnightly roster and a staff-to-resident ratio of three. Each individual has their own unique personality, preferences, and care needs, requiring an adaptable and resilient person who is dedicated to helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

The individuals living in this home require specialized care and support, including manual handling, stoma care, epilepsy management, and mealtime assistance. They also present with behaviors of concern, making this a challenging yet deeply rewarding role.

Our clients enjoy a range of activities, from community outings like swimming, walks, and theatre shows, to spending time with family and gardening. Community engagement is central to their lives, and you will play an important part in ensuring they continue to access and enjoy these opportunities.

We are looking for someone who can not only provide practical support but also genuinely engage with the people in this home, helping to create a supportive, person-centered environment that encourages personal growth and autonomy.
