School-based Traineeships at the Reece Group offer students a chance to combine work experience with formal education.

We are partnering with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to deliver a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations traineeship, tailored for Year 10 students. This opportunity combines work and study to enhance employability skills.

The role involves working in a Reece branch, completing certificate requirements through on-the-job training, and assessments. Students will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This position is based at our Plumbing Pymble location. Key responsibilities include:

  • Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate
  • Processing sales transactions efficiently
  • Effective stock management and organisation
  • Responding to phone calls and messages
  • Communicating effectively with customers and staff
  • Broadening product knowledge
  • Offering exceptional follow-up services to customers
  • Maintaining a high-standard workplace.

About You:

If you possess good written and verbal communication skills, can follow instructions, have enthusiasm and a positive attitude, and are willing to learn, we encourage you to apply. As a team player, you should be able to maintain a neat and tidy workspace. Saturday availability is required, with additional hours during school holidays available.
