Data Platform Lead

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, this newly created role leads the operations and optimisation of enterprise applications and data platforms. You will manage a high-performing technical team, oversee vendor relationships and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define and deliver platform strategy and vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and develop a high-performing data and enterprise technology team.
  2. Manage lifecycle, risk profile and operational health of core platforms and systems.
  3. Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver the platform roadmap.
  4. Oversee vendors, support contracts and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years managing enterprise applications and data platforms.
  • Strong background in cloud-based data platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift).
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, DBT).
  • Exposure to Salesforce or similar enterprise applications.
  • Proven leadership experience in building and motivating technical teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and vendor management capability.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and delivery focus.
