Job Overview

Care & Connects is a dedicated NDIS provider committed to delivering exceptional support services. We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our vibrant and multicultural team.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the NDIS framework and its principles, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be responsible for providing day-to-day support and guidance to our support workers, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality care to our participants.

The ideal candidate will have experience in disability support, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role. They will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and possess the expertise to lead a dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of SIL houses and community residents.
  • Monitor and mentor support workers to ensure workplace health and safety checks, general operations, and cleanliness of properties.
  • Provide exceptional service to participants/residents in SIL houses and community settings.
  • Implement positive behavior support plans and coach support workers in implementing the same.
  • Regularly oversee restricted practice audit tools and medication practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent.
  • Medication Administration Accreditation.
  • NDIS and WWC Check.
  • First Aid and CPR.
  • Desirable: CPI/MAPA/Mental Health First Aid and any additional trainings.
