We are seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to join our dynamic team as a Project Accountant/Senior Cost Administrator. This role is crucial in supporting the Finance Lead, ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of project data, and driving financial excellence across the project.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze financial data, identify risks/opportunities, and recommend improvements.
- Prepare client claims and invoices; manage debtor/creditor aging and forecast working capital.
- Maintain contract financial data integrity in SAP.
- Prepare budget and forecast reports, manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and monitor cost code allocations.
- Analyze cost deviations, provide corrective actions, and issue 'Early Warning' notifications.
- Ensure accurate month-end cost reviews and labor cost accounting.
- Assist with payroll, PPE, and onboarding queries.
- Identify and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Promote and adhere to safety policies.
- Degree and CPA/CA qualification with 4+ years of experience, OR several years of experience in a similar financial role.
- Proficient in SAP or large ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of Lump Sum and Schedule of Rates contracts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused, team-oriented, and results-driven.
