Senior Research Adviser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Adviser (Pre-Award) to join our team at the University of Western Australia. As a key member of our Pre-Award team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and submission of research funding applications.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to researchers on developing and submitting research funding applications.
- Identify and pursue new research funding opportunities to support the University's research strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and government agencies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement strategies to support research excellence and knowledge transfer.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- Extensive senior administrative and research funding experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including editorial skills.
- Ability to negotiate and advise on complex research budgets.
- Sound knowledge and demonstrated expertise in relevant higher education policies, including current issues associated with research.
