Job Title: Supervisor - Coffee Shop

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor in a busy coffee shop.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, including supervising staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth running of the shop.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, including supervising staff and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the shop, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including sales, inventory, and staff performance.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives to improve the shop's efficiency and profitability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory or management position, preferably in a food service or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take initiative.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. The shift schedule will include mornings, afternoons, and some evenings. You will be required to work weekends and public holidays on a rotating basis.
