About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Specialist to join our team at Santos Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical and instrumentation systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • System Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, VSDs, motor controls, and electrical schematics.
  • EHS Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication of maintenance activities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and work collaboratively with the team to implement changes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Cert III Electrotechnology/Instrumentation Dual Trade or equivalent E/I Dual Trade Qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in coal seam gas operations.
  • Skills: Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC, Emmerson ROC, and Emerson Delta V DCS; competent in SAP; and proficient word processing skills using MS Office suite.
