Job Title: Automotive Electrical Specialist

This position is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of equipment, vehicles, and plant within a construction environment.

  • Maintenance:
    • Perform regular preventative and repair maintenance on mobile and stationary plant and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
    • Conduct thorough inspections of plant and equipment to identify defects and required repairs, diagnose issues, and implement solutions to prevent future occurrences.
    • Test and adjust repaired systems/components to meet manufacturers' specifications and ensure seamless operation.
  • Emergency Repairs:
    • Respond promptly to emergency/unscheduled repairs of plant and equipment at the request of a supervisor or project manager.
  • Procurement:
    • Assist in sourcing replacement equipment, parts, and supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
    • Inspect delivered goods and materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
    • Process delivery dockets and communicate with supervisors as necessary.
  • Administration:
    • Manage maintenance and repair work orders to ensure efficient tracking and completion.
    • Review work orders and collaborate with project managers and supervisors to optimize workflow.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and project managers to ensure effective communication and cooperation.
