Support Worker Role

The ideal candidate will be a reliable, compassionate, and intuitive individual who is passionate about supporting people with disabilities.

Key responsibilities include supporting a young autistic woman to live independently and complete her schooling after a challenging couple of years.

The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting people with challenging behaviours and implementing positive behaviour support plans that do not include or rely on restrictive practices.

  • Be outgoing, patient, and empathetic, with a genuine passion for connecting with others
  • Be cheerful and positive, with a love for life and new experiences
  • Be consistent, reliable, and honest
  • Be easygoing, mature, organised, and capable
  • Possess strong communication skills, with native-level English proficiency
  • Ability to understand and follow comprehensive positive behaviour support plans, seeking further support or clarification where necessary
  • Ability to complete required documentation and communicate progress towards goals, wellbeing, and care through the required system
  • Flexible working attitude with willingness and availability to work as rostered across a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Have an interest in animals, the outdoors, and sport

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination, or willingness to obtain
  • Current WA Driver's License
  • Current First Aid Certificate +CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working With Children's Check
  • National Police Clearance
