We are seeking a compassionate and motivated support worker to provide encouragement and support for a young autistic boy who is struggling to adapt to online schooling.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will assist with daily living tasks, facilitate community participation, social activities, and skill-building, while promoting independence and choice in line with participants' NDIS plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily living tasks (e.g., personal care, meal preparation, household duties).
  • Support participants in community participation, social activities, and skill-building.
  • Promote independence and choice in line with participants' NDIS plans.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach.
