Opal HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Quality Advisor to join our clinical services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services across our care communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and manage clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor clinical indicators and provide support to management teams to identify and mitigate clinical risks.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the lives of our residents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with Aged Care Standards.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in nursing with current AHPRA registration.
- At least 3 years' experience in nursing, risk and compliance (healthcare) or health management; preferably in the aged care sector.
- Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of the aged care industry.
- Infection control experience is an essential requirement of this position.
- Previous auditing experience in the Aged Care Standards is highly desirable.
- A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of systems and processes.
- A true passion for care, continuous quality improvement, and the aged care industry.
- The ability to travel on a regular basis and at short notice is an essential requirement of this position.
