About the role

At Pyramid Global Technologies, we're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and help us deliver high-quality customer experiences.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products and services.

Your mission will be to design and deliver a modern banking platform and supporting suite of services that provide simple and secure ways for our customers to engage with the bank.

You'll employ your testing and engineering skills to help reshape how we deliver high-quality customer experiences faster and more efficiently to our customers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the product owner, engineers, analysts, and other teams to identify risks early and help fix bugs as they arise.
  • Designing test approaches and optimizing test execution across functional and non-functional coverage.
  • Building scripts and tools to implement and continuously improve test outcomes.
  • Identifying opportunities for testing continuous improvement and implementing solutions to perform more effective and efficient testing.
  • Ensuring the necessary hygiene for test case creation, script creation, test execution, and defect logging in a system.

What will you need to succeed?

You'll need relevant experience in testing and developing QA automation frameworks/solutions, exposure to DevOps and Continuous Integration tools, and experience with at least one programming language.

You'll also need exposure to cloud infrastructure deployments/design, hands-on experience with UI automation tools, and experience in using test management tools.

Additionally, you'll need relevant experience working in a complex integrated banking environment and exposure to REST API testing, contracts, and mocking.
