Commercial Deal Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Deal Specialist to join our team.

  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH MAJOR CUSTOMERS: You will work closely with key stakeholders to develop and maintain strong relationships, driving growth and revenue opportunities.
  • NEGOTIATE AND DELIVER GAME-CHANGING ENERGY SUPPLY AGREEMENTS: Utilizing your expertise in contract management and negotiation, you will secure high-value deals that benefit both the company and customers.
  • UNLOCK NEW REVENUE STREAMS AND MAXIMISE VALUE FROM EXISTING ASSETS: By leveraging your commercial pricing, financial, and technical knowledge, you will identify new revenue streams and optimize existing assets for maximum value.
  • BE THE KEY LINK FROM OPPORTUNITY TO EXECUTION IN A FAST-MOVING MARKET: As a critical link between opportunity and execution, you will navigate complex market dynamics to drive success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A STRONG TRACK RECORD IN CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND NEGOTIATION: We seek candidates with proven experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • COMMERCIAL PRICING, FINANCIAL, AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW: Your expertise in commercial pricing, finance, and technology will be essential in driving business growth.
  • EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, BIDS, AND PRE-CONTRACT ACTIVITIES: Strong background in business development, bids, and pre-contract activities is required.
  • CONFIDENCE IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS AND A TALENT FOR BUILDING TRUST: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • KNOWLEDGE OF CONTESTABLE ENERGY MARKETS AND REGULATIONS: Familiarity with contestable energy markets and regulations is essential for success in this role.
  • TERTIARY QUALIFICATIONS IN COMMERCE, BUSINESS, FINANCE, OR LAW (OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE): Candidates should hold tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, finance, or law, or equivalent experience.
  • MINING, RESOURCES, OR ENERGY BACKGROUND HIGHLY REGARDED: Experience in mining, resources, or energy industries is highly valued.
