Energy Transformation Specialist

Overview of Responsibilities:
As a Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading a client project team of 5-8 business, digital and domain experts in delivering rapid and sustained value through maintenance, production, reliability, inventory and emissions. You will work closely with clients, global business and deep domain experts to drive tangible decarbonisation and transformation outcomes for energy, mining and public infrastructure assets.
About the Role:
- You will oversee the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members. You'll work directly with clients and take ownership of the overall project and its end products. Your superior analytical, quantitative, and conceptual thinking skills will ensure successful client projects and team performance.
- Client project work typically includes gathering and analysing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses, and developing recommendations for presentation to client management. From there, you will implement those recommendations with client team members.
Skills / Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field is required. An advanced degree and MBA is preferred. At least 5 years of relevant experience in the energy, mining and built environment sectors are needed, including 2+ years in a leadership role within the business.
- Previous consulting experience is advantageous. Deep expertise in the industries as well as solid functional knowledge including but not limited to digital transformation, strategy, business development, energy, supply chain, project management, marketing and sales are necessary.
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills are required. Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment is essential.
