Aircraft System Specialists

To excel in this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex aircraft systems. This includes hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems, as well as avionic systems and components on fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
- Mechanical Tasks:
- Inspect and maintain hydraulic, environmental, pneumatic and propulsion systems.
- Repair and replace system components and propellers as required.
- Avionic Tasks:
- Maintain and inspect avionic systems and components.
- Diagnose faults and implement repairs to ensure optimal performance.
- Structures Tasks:
- Produce, maintain and repair sheet metal, bonded and non-metallic composite material and components.
- Armament Tasks:
- Maintain emergency escape systems, egress systems and aircraft weapon systems.
This position requires a Certificate IV in Aeroskills or recognised training, and Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance. Strong communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
