">About This Role:

You will need strong relationship-building skills, as well as a genuine desire to provide exceptional support for people with disabilities, including those with complex needs.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for building rapport and collaborating effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

  • Empower participants to achieve independence through skill development and goal-achievement.
  • Provide regular and professional support in line with participants' plans, needs, and desires.
  • Support participants in accessing social and community activities, promoting a healthy lifestyle.
  • Implement strategies to enhance participants' skills and identify areas for additional support.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
  • Current First Aid Level 2 Certificate (mandatory).
  • Experience working with clients with complex disabilities (preferred).
  • National Police Check (mandatory).
  • Manual handling experience (preferred).
  • CPR certification (annual).
  • Working with Children's Check (WWCC) (mandatory).
