Job Description:

We are a business dedicated to producing healthy and delicious dairy products that bring people together. Our team of passionate employees work closely with farmers, customers, and consumers to produce the finest dairy products in the country.

This full-time opportunity requires a highly motivated individual to drive and contribute to the success of our 24-hour operation as Laboratory Coordinator.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our laboratory by performing the following key responsibilities:

  • Supervising laboratory staff including performance management development and conduct.
  • Communicating test results to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring an efficient and reliable testing service in accordance with approved methods.
  • Assisting in implementing corporate laboratory methods sampling plans and standardized reporting.
  • Reviewing laboratory performance against defined measures including calibration accuracy result traceability customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Participating in HACCP audits/reviews and internal audits.

The ideal candidate will possess well-developed interpersonal and communication skills able to build effective internal and external relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role you must have a tertiary qualification such as a degree in Food Science or a Certificate IV in Food Processing. Specific knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and HACCP is also required. Ideally experience with SAP is preferred.
