Job Overview
The Train Assembly Technician is a key role in our production line, responsible for assembling and fitting components with precision and attention to detail.
This position requires strong technical skills, including the ability to follow specifications and instructions. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a similar or related role, possess a tertiary qualification relevant to the position, and have experience with office management software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components on the production line according to specifications and instructions.
- Maintain quality, productivity, and process improvement initiatives.
- Record and report faults to relevant areas of production.
- Perform work quality checks to ensure product meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Maintain all equipment according to maintenance plans and procedures.
- Carry out problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to follow specifications and instructions.
- Tertiary qualification relevant to the position.
- Experience with office management software.
