Job Summary

The role at ASIC involves leveraging the Boomi platform to build and maintain strategic integration solutions. As a Senior Integration Developer, you will be accountable for providing technical recommendations and inputs to project planning, integration requirements, and design solutions. This includes developing, unit-testing, and deploying integration services, as well as contributing to the continuous improvement of services, environments, and processes.


About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing systems analysis and technical recommendations to project planning and integration requirements.
  • Developing and deploying integration services, including service definitions to support enhancements and projects.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of services, environments, and processes.
  • Creating and maintaining integration design documents and interface specifications.
  • Ensuring adherence to development, coding, privacy, and security standards.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation and development best practices.
  • Performing day-to-day operational activities, including health checks, incident resolution, and change management.
  • Providing advice, coaching, and knowledge transfer to junior staff.
  • Collaborating with IT teams and stakeholders to meet desired outcomes within set timeframes.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Integration Developer to join our team at ASIC. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in IT, engineering, or a relevant degree.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying integration solutions using Boomi or other leading integration platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience with Web services and APIs, including REST, XML/JSON, SOAP, and XSLT.
  • Experience in designing APIs using SwaggerHub.
  • Experience with ReadyAPI testing platform.
  • Experience with AWS API Gateway and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodology and development, including the use of agile management tools.
  • Experience with CICD/DevOps, continuous integration, and automated unit testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and people skills.
