Job Summary

Olympus has a dynamic position available for an experienced Front Of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant.

This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Hospitality or relevant experience in management/supervising roles, along with great knowledge and passion for the industry.

We are looking for someone who can provide creative input to develop new products and train staff in their execution, while ensuring health and safety standards are upheld throughout the venue.

Responsibilities will include managing the ordering process, participating in stock-takes, recruiting and selecting front of house staff, and providing a superior guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the ordering process for food and beverage ingredients
  • Participate in regular stock-takes and maintenance of ordering systems
  • Provide creative input in our food and beverage program to develop new products and train staff in their execution
  • Enforce health and safety standards throughout the venue
  • Recruit and select front of house staff members, and ensure appropriate training is delivered
  • Provide a superior guest experience by ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Manage the end-to-end reservation experience from small groups to large-scale private events to the highest standard

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Hospitality or at least 3 years in management/supervising roles in Hospitality
  • Great knowledge and a deep passion for our industry
  • Experience in planning and organizing special events and occasions
  • Experience in hatted restaurants environment preferred but not essential
