Actuarial Role in APAC Insurance

This position supports the growth of our APAC insurance business by delivering strategic initiatives as part of the actuarial team.

We're looking for actuaries to quantify risk, price insurance and reserve losses for our major operating companies. This involves collaboration with various stakeholders such as Finance, Claims, Operations, Marketing and Risk Management to help predict, manage and mitigate risk.

The role also entails:

  • Coordinating US GAAP quarterly management reporting requirements
  • Supporting strategic portfolio reviews and deep-dive analyses of certain APAC business segments
  • Preparing local regulatory reporting for Australia and New Zealand offices
  • Reviewing capital projections and investment strategies
  • Providing support to the budget loss ratio exercise
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of General Insurance experience
  • Proficiency in actuarial concepts and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective project and time management
