The role of the arts teacher is to deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that foster a love of creative and performing arts in students. As an arts teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.

  • Developing and delivering high-quality, engaging, hands-on lessons using High Impact Teaching Practices
  • Delivering high-quality, engaging, hands-on music lessons
  • Creativity and Innovation: Bringing your own strengths and creative vision to the existing Music / Arts program, with a view to growing the Arts as a feature of St Joseph's

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
