Quantitative Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an analytical professional who excels at understanding complex data sets and communicating insights effectively. Based in Brisbane, you will work with our Total Portfolio Analytics team to model and analyze investment data, informing sound decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team by analyzing data to guide investment decisions and portfolio strategies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to assist with performance reviews, investment research, and risk reporting.
  • Develop and update dashboards and models to automate analysis and track performance metrics.
  • Contribute to collecting, checking, and reporting data while improving quality and usability.
  • Assist in developing and testing models to uncover new insights using quantitative methods.
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data into a unified framework and develop data governance standards.

About You

You will have a strong interest in multi-asset investing and a proactive mindset that drives continual learning and interest in applying technology to solve investment challenges. You will also likely have the following qualifications:

  • A degree in Mathematical Sciences, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Computer Science.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and Python programming languages.
  • A curious mind and creative eye for data visualization.
  • Advantageous: proficiency in data visualization tools.
