ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a leading property developer to fill a leadership position within their expanding team. As a key member of the team, you will oversee and guide the architectural design process for a range of new developments, refurbishments, and renovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mentor and support junior designers to foster a collaborative team environment
- Develop, plan, and manage retail design projects from concept through to completion, ensuring high-quality outcomes for new stores, refurbishments, and renovations
- Manage project budgets to ensure designs are cost-effective and developed within financial parameters
- Ensure compliance with building codes, local council guidelines, environmental regulations, and industry standards to minimize legal risk
- Oversee the quality control of architectural designs and ensure timelines are met
- Present design plans to senior management, project teams, and external partners
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a Registered Architect in Australia with at least 5 years of experience, ideally in retail or commercial design. You will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and support a team while maintaining a focus on project delivery. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other 3D modeling software is essential, along with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
