Project Lead Position

We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Lead to oversee the delivery of strategic projects. In this role, you'll take ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing initiatives across various sectors.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery—planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Define project scopes and timelines, and track progress using tools such as Gantt charts and milestone schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across operations, maintenance, health and safety, procurement, and finance.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating meetings and workshops to align stakeholders, troubleshoot issues, and maintain momentum.
  • Managing schedules and adapting plans to accommodate operational changes, delays, or risks.
  • Engaging and overseeing external contractors and vendors, ensuring safety, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Monitoring project budgets, tracking actuals vs forecasts, and managing cost variations with transparency.
  • Identifying risks early, maintaining a risk register, and implementing mitigation strategies in collaboration with leadership.
  • Keeping documentation up to date—scopes, change logs, safety records, and reporting.
  • Providing regular updates to senior management on performance, risks, and decision points.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven experience in managing projects in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously within defined scopes.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
