We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students or recent graduates in civil or geotechnical engineering to join our team. In this capacity, you will be based in the field performing surveying work, including foundation piling, slope stabilization, and ground improvement.

As a geotechnical engineering intern, you will have the opportunity to learn various software applications, such as Total Station for construction measurement, engineering, and monitoring. This internship is designed to equip you with essential industry experience and skills necessary to succeed in your career.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical advice to operations during greenfield analysis on reserves quality, drilling programs, and geotechnical parameters
  • Conduct soil investigations and surveying work in the field
  • Support senior geotechnical engineers with surveying and footings
  • Offer geotechnical reviews and advice to stakeholders, track, and manage areas of risk
  • Prepare PERC/JORC reports for reserves and resources
  • Identify and support operations with shortages of reserves, assessing suitable replacement reserves
What You Will Learn:
  • Geotechnical software, including deswik CAD, LeapFrog, and MINEX
  • Fieldwork, surveying, footings, and testing required for geotechnical engineering projects
  • Experience in a high-performance workplace, with mentoring by senior professionals and geotechnical engineers
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Civil or geotechnical engineering student or recent graduate
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
