Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team at The Sporting Globe. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing staff, operations, and customer service to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Lead and manage a team of staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management to ensure excellent customer service and quality.
  • Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, including running the restaurant, bar, and functions to ensure smooth execution and high standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensure superior service and quality to deliver outstanding guest experiences, driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Financial Management: Identify opportunities to build sales and revenue while controlling costs, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Maintain current market knowledge and develop promotional concepts to drive business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hospitality management experience, preferably in a sports bar and restaurant environment.
  • Experience in controlling financial aspects of a business, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Ability to lead, train, and develop a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality.
  • RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced certifications, with First Aid and Approved Managers Certificates preferred but not essential.
