Exhibition and Public Art Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced arts professional to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of public art projects that enhance community spaces and celebrate local stories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with artists, community groups, and partners to foster creative engagement and development.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for public art project planning, coordination, and delivery.
  • Manage exhibition logistics including contracts, installation plans, artwork handling, freight, and condition reporting.
  • Coordinate and oversee the installation and deinstallation of exhibitions, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordance with WHS standards.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification (AQF level 6 or above) in visual arts, arts administration, exhibition design, or community arts and cultural development.
  • Proven experience in the planning and delivery of exhibitions.
