About the Role

This permanent full-time opportunity is seeking a professional and experienced forklift loader to join the Stratco team at their Gepps Cross manufacturing facility.

The role involves ensuring trucks and customer vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently, with no damage. You will be responsible for printing out vehicle load sheets, planning the load and placement onto delivery trucks, locating finished goods and loading to the vehicle, picking and packing accessories and loading to the vehicles, scanning and updating records to load sheets, and maintaining stock records and stock movements via scanners.

Responsibilities


  • Print out vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery trucks
  • Locate finished goods and load to the vehicle
  • Pick and pack accessories and load to the vehicles
  • Scan and update records to load sheets
  • General housekeeping duties
  • Move stock and finished goods around the warehouse safely
  • Maintain stock records and stock movements via scanners

About You


  • Proven experience driving forklifts and hand loading vehicles
  • Forklift License and SA Drivers license essential
  • Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
  • Good communicator, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to accuracy
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
  • Knowledge and/or previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be looked upon favorably, but not essential.
