About This Role

We are seeking a motivated Climate Control Specialist (Refrigeration or Electrical trade) due to ongoing growth in our operations. This role offers autonomy, variety, and opportunities for professional development in technical and leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on HVAC systems, including preventative and routine work.
  • Commission, overhaul, fault-find, and service mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain a range of equipment from package units to chillers and central plants, prioritizing safety and productivity.
  • Gain exposure to building management systems, enhancing technical expertise.
  • Manage site activities and provide quotes for small works, showcasing project management skills.
Requirements:
  • Desirable experience with commercial air conditioning and chiller systems.
  • In-house training available for chillers, leveraging York OEM expertise.
  • Refrigeration or Electrical background with HVAC experience; dual trade apprenticeships offered.
  • Restricted Electrical Licence required.
  • Current driver's Licence necessary.
