We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced equine professional to manage the daily operations of our stable barn.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for horse care and management, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the racing industry.

The successful applicant will be responsible for administering medications, evaluating and monitoring horse health, and ensuring prompt treatment when necessary.

They will also be responsible for ensuring horses receive proper nutrition and grooming, including monitoring eating habits and adjusting diets as needed.

This is a full-time position requiring early morning starts and regular afternoon and weekend work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and monitoring horse health, identifying potential injuries and providing prompt treatment
  • Ensuring horses receive proper nutrition and grooming
  • Reporting to the trainer or manager and providing regular updates on horse well-being and performance
  • Mentoring staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Essential Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in the racing industry
  • Proven ability to handle and educate young horses
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Previous experience saddling horses on race days
