Job Title: Medical Imaging Technologist - Grade 1 or 2

This is a fixed-term, full-time position in the Medical Imaging Department at The Royal Children's Hospital. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients and referrers. Your responsibilities will include performing imaging modalities as per your current skills and expanding those skills over time under the supervision of the Allied Health Manager – Medical Imaging.

The role contributes to the care of paediatric patients in diagnosis, disease monitoring, and treatment, and involves supervising intern and student MITs under the guidance of the Lead Clinical Educator – MIT. Our goal is to maintain a high standard of imaging to produce reliable, timely results that can make a difference.

About You:

  • You have a Diploma or degree in Applied Science / Diagnostic Radiography, eligible for ASMIRT membership">
  • You have relevant experience in Medical Imaging">
  • You are currently AHPRA registered">
  • You hold a Current Victorian DH radiation license">
