About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Asset Engineer to join our team at the City of Gold Coast. As a key member of our Infrastructure Lifecycle Planning and Performance Department, you will play a critical role in maintaining a sustainable waste, energy, water, and sewerage service for our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and mitigate high-risk failures in water, waste, and energy assets
  • Develop and implement asset life cycle management strategies
  • Collaborate with maintenance and delivery teams to ensure effective asset management
  • Conduct condition assessments and develop scopes for minor renewals, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • Manage projects and support team members to meet their commitments
  • Communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
Requirements
  • 5+ years of electrical engineering experience
  • Excellent asset life cycle management knowledge
  • Strong ability to develop and support the development of strong justification and scope
  • Experience in managing projects and supporting team members
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
