Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based AOD interventions
- Provide education and training to emergency department staff to enhance their capacity in AOD screening, assessment, treatment, and referral
- Coordinate services and develop integrated referral pathways with AOD providers and other external services
- Develop strategies to improve the 4-hour NEAT for AOD presentations
- Establish a secondary AOD consultation program for sub-regional emergency departments across Gippsland
