Job Title: High Performance Risk Engineering Specialist

 

We are seeking a skilled developer to build high-performance systems that provide real-time market risk insights across various desks and asset classes.

 

This role requires collaboration with traders, Compliance, and fellow technologists to design and deliver innovative solutions that respond to evolving business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance real-time risk systems used throughout the trading floor.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Design and deliver efficient software solutions using C# and object-oriented design principles.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C#, object-oriented design, and experience in server-side and desktop applications.
  • Familiarity with multi-threading, performance tuning, and real-time messaging technologies.
  • A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
  • A passion for problem-solving and innovation, with an interest in financial markets and risk systems.

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in risk or trading systems, particularly around derivative pricing, P&L, or Greeks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous improvement in software delivery.
